Kate joined GS in spring of 2022. Attracted to the long growing season, Kate moved to California from Ohio where she grew up getting lost in deciduous woods and tall grass meadows. With a professional gardener for a mother and an architect for a father, tending to plants and taking accurate measurements have long been daily tasks for her, logically culminating in the craft of landscape architecture.
She holds a graduate degree in landscape architecture from UCLA extension and draws on her background in environmental psychology and fine art to reconnect people with place.
